A former standout for the Ashland-Keefe Tech co-op team, Coach Capo moves from assistant to head coach, bringing firsthand competitive experience and deep multigenerational ties to the Clockers. Building on recent league titles and state success, he now leads Ashland with passion and a commitment to continued program excellence.

Pete Zacchilli
Zacchilli led Ashland’s renewed program through its “Power A Era,” marked by multiple Tri-Valley League titles and state sectional championships. His leadership helped re-establish the Clockers as one of the state’s top wrestling programs. Son of National Wrestling Hall of Famer Nick Zacchili and Volleyball Hall of Famer Linda (Casasanta) Zacchili

Don Marini and Pete Zacchilli
Together, Marini and Zacchilli strengthened Ashland’s co-op era. They helped integrate youth talent and build foundational leadership, setting the stage for future independent program success.

Tom Forbes
Tom Forbes led Ashland in the early 2000s before the formal Ashland-Keefe Tech co-op. His tenure was part of the program’s transitional era just prior to the co-op’s formation and built on the long history of Clockers wrestling.

Tim LaPointe
Coach LaPointe contributed to Ashland’s strong 1990s teams alongside Harrison and Flaherty. Under his guidance, the Clockers continued their tradition of competitive wrestling and helped develop future state champions.

Chris Capobianco
Program Alum

Lou Mancini

A former state champion, Coach Mancini led the Clockers in the early 1980s with one of the program’s most successful dual meet records. His squads posted big wins and defeated notable New England competition, continuing Ashland’s strong legacy on the mat.

Lou Varrichione
Taking over in 1970, Coach Varrichione guided Ashland through a decade of steady competition, including producing multiple strong squads and nurturing future wrestling leaders. His teams were competitive throughout the 1970s, reinforcing the program’s growth after its formative years.

Dick Corbin
Coach Corbin founded the Ashland Wrestling program in 1967, leading the Clockers to an undefeated dual meet season and a Dual County League Championship in the first year. His early teams set a foundation of success and produced strong tournament performances in the late 1960s.
