Jr. Clockers Youth Wrestling

Our town's K-8 Girls and Boys youth program teaches amateur folk style wrestling in a competitive environment, foster a young wrestler's potential through their commitment to the sport and act as a feeder program for the Ashland High School wrestling team.  No prior experience is necessary, and we warmly welcome participants from nearby towns where a town wrestling team doesn't exit.

The teams are split K-4 and 5-8.  Practices are Tuesday & Thursday evenings at the Pittaway School. K-4 practices are 5:30-6:30 and 5-8 practices are 6:30 - 8:00, with a few exceptions in January when they are right after school at the Middle School.  Wrestlers will have opportunities for a variety of competition styles.  Scrimmages happen in December, January and February with other local wrestling clubs.  No standings, team scores or wins/losses are recorded at scrimmages.  These are usually held on Friday nights or Saturday mornings.  Dual meets are town vs town, usually aligned with the varsity team schedule, Wednesday nights and Sundays.  There are additional tournaments ($) throughout the season from December to March and coaches, parents and wrestlers decide which tournaments they wish to compete in.  See the schedule here

USA Wrestling Membership Required.  Use Club Code 1900039102 when registering here. 

The USAW fee is $20 for the year. 
Jr Clocker Registration is $250 for K-4 and $275 for 5-8.
Registration covers gym facility rental, equipment, and wrestling kit.  Battle Gear included in price. 
Tournaments are optional, though recommended, and $30-$40 each + spectator fees

Like with any youth sport, we need parent volunteers to ensure safety and enjoyment. You do not need any wrestling experience to help at practices, scrimmages and tournaments/duals.
